Peace, love & chicken grease
Meet Josh & the lodge.
PJ's Cactus Lodge began after Josh found his first cactus during a late 2024 trip along the Santa Fe Trail from Independence, Missouri, to Trinidad, Colorado.
Back home, Josh and his best friend Scotty Peterson turned a 10 by 10 basement room into a place to grow. They use a gritty mix built around river rock from a spring-fed Missouri River tributary, then water with spring water and rainwater when the season allows.
Just a couple of Missouri hippies growing cactus, flowers, vegetables, and fruit.
